Fika [Fee-ka] is a social phenomenon and one that is quickly spreading the world.
Originating in Sweden, it's translated to mean 'coffee with friends', but it really means much more than that.
It is considered important and a legitimate reason to slow down, set aside some quality time to spend with friends and to enjoy the good things in life.
We work to create and provide shared and family homes that give landlords and tenants alike the opportunity to do just that.

With more than a decade in the property business, Sam brings valuable experience in business and sales from working across several industries.
After developing a genuine interest in property investing himself, Sam spoke with many landlords who shared frustrations with the level of service in the lettings and property management market, highlighting a clear need for a more efficient and reliable approach. Spotting an opportunity to do things better, this naturally led to the creation of Fika in 2017.

With over 20 years of experience in the property industry, Kiera started her career as an Estate and Lettings Agent before becoming Branch Manager of a large agency at just 24.
Passionate about doing things differently and improving the way lettings and property management services are delivered, Kiera joined Fika as Co‑Owner and Company Director in 2022.
She also actively invests in property, with a mixed portfolio that includes family homes, HMOs, and commercial properties.

Maddi began her career with us in 2024 as an apprentice and has since achieved a Level 3 qualification in Property Management. In addition, she is NRLA accredited in HMO lettings and management.
In her role as Junior Lettings Consultant, Maddi supports the lettings process through effective property marketing, tenant lead generation, and viewings, helping to match suitable tenants with our clients’ properties.

Amanda plays a key role in supporting both tenants and landlords by managing the administrative side of the lettings process, ensuring everything run smoothly behind the scenes.
From tenant referencing and Right to Rent checks through to handling deposits, rent payments, and drafting tenancy agreements, she ensures that all tenancies begin and end fully compliantly.

Pamela joined the team and oversees the maintenance of all our managed properties, helping to ensure they are safe, compliant, and well maintained.
From organising certificate renewals to responding to maintenance concerns raised by tenants and liaises with contractors, she oversees works through to completion ensuring issues are resolved promptly and every property remains fully compliant.

Kirsty regularly visits our managed properties to ensure everything is well maintained, compliant, and running smoothly. She carries out tasks such as routine inspections and inventories, tests alarms where required, checks communal and external areas, records meter readings and ensures all statutory notices are displayed correctly.
While at each property, Kirsty also looks out for any maintenance, safety, or tenant issues, reporting anything that needs attention and following up on completed works. Her proactive approach helps keep properties well maintained and ensures ensure issues are dealt as efficiently as possible for both landlords and tenants.

Our vision is to improve the way that lettings and property management services are delivered to landlords and tenants alike, therein continuing to build upon and grow a profitable business that is valued by our clients and respected by our competitors.

Our goal is to help as many landlords as possible keep their voids to a minimum and profits to a maximum, allowing them more time to focus on and enjoy the financial rewards of their investments.

We promise to be friendly, professional, proactive, courteous and honest in our approach whilst being accountable for our actions at all times.
