Pay a tenancy deposit instead
If Flatfair No Deposit is not available on the selected property, if you do not meet the Flatfair's referencing criteria to use No Deposit - or if you simply prefer - you can pay a refundable tenancy deposit of 5 weeks rent.
Some tenants actually prefer this option given that, although the Flatfair's No Deposit check-in fee is much lower, it is non-refundable.
Tenancy deposits are legally protected by MyDeposits, a government-backed tenancy deposit protection scheme, who hold and protect your deposit until you move out.
You should still pay your tenancy deposit to Flatfair who will register your tenancy deposit with MyDeposits on our behalf. Once registered, you will receive a certificate and other information as proof of registration.
